Hosea Feed The Hungry
The annual Hosea Feed the Hungry dinner celebrates its 46th year of feeding the community in Atlanta on Thanksgiving Day. The event serves thousands of meals every year and keeps growing with its offering of services and food. The event was started by noted civil rights leader Hosea Williams, who was a top aide for Dr. Martin L. King Jr. With the death of Williams in 2000, the annual event is now led by his daughter, Elisabeth Omilami.
He has coached and mentored many young culinarians throughout his career and has watched as they blossomed into industry leaders following in his footsteps. If you are striving to breakthrough your glass ceiling or simply looking for that motivational spark on your journey to excellence, let Master Chef Daryl Shular show you what propelled him to the highest height of the culinary industry. There’s a seed in all of us, so keep feeding it as the harvest will be bountiful!
